Community Bake Oven

There has been talk about installing a community bake oven at the Barns? Would you like to see one? Would you use it?

I would love to see a bake oven at the Barns! Christie Pits has one they use for community pizza nights - lots of fun. I also think the bake oven used at Dufferin Grove for fresh baked bread is amazing.

We've just recently moved to the neighbourhood and were so pleased to hear about the barns. The farmer's market is great and a bake oven would be fabulous! Also like the idea of movie nights (I know Joe Mihevc had done a few, but this would be a great ongoing event over the summer.

The barns market has been such a success and I think that a bake oven would be a wonderful addition.

How great would that be, to have a bake oven at the Arts Barns! Very fun and educational for my 3 year old. It could also become a hub for storytelling activities, where people can come break bread in circle and share tales. Invite some old folks from the towers down Christie to come tell how they used to bake bread.
